Sabine Weyer

Sabine Weyer was born in Luxembourg in 1988. She began her piano studies at age seven at the music Conservatory in her home town of Esch-sur-Alzette. In 2004, Sabine entered the Conservatory in Metz, France, where she graduated in 2007 with the Prix de perfectionnement. She continued her studies at the Royal Conservatory in Brussels, first in the class of Daniel Blumenthal and from 2010 in the class of Aleksandar Madžar.

In 2012 Sabine Weyer received her Master’s degree and in 2013 she graduated with the Concert Diploma with distinction. Very early in her career, Sabine Weyer received an award at the Concours Musical de France. Sabine participated in numerous masterclasses with renowned pedagogues such as Françoise BuffetArsenijevic, Norma Fisher, Michel Béroff, Karl-Heinz Kämmerling, Jura Margulis, Paul Badura-Skoda, Oxana Yablonskaya, Mario Patuzzi. She also took private lessons with Vassil Guenov, Vitaly Samoshko, Rustem Hayroudinoff at the Royal Academy of Music in London and with the Argentine pianist Aquiles Delle Vigne in Coimbra, Portugal.
Sabine Weyer performs regularly in Luxembourg, Belgium, Italy, France, Spain, Norway, Germany, Russia and China.

In February 2013, Sabine appeared as a soloist together with the Kiev National Orchestra. In December of that same year she performed at the Wagner-Verdi-Liszt Festival at the Teatro San Carlo in Lisbon and at the Teatro Gil Vicente in Coimbra. In 2014, Sabine Weyer embarked on a tour of China, where she appeared at the Shanghai Concert Hall with a program dedicated to Johannes Brahms. Her first recording with works by Rameau and Debussy was released on the Austrian label Paladino in 2015.

In 2016 Sabine Weyer joined the faculty of the Music Conservatory of the City of Luxembourg. She is the artisitc director of her own art festival “The classic Jam Sessions” at the Kinneksbond Mamer in Luxembourg.
